Yet another impressive year for the business software group of companies that leads digital transformation in Greece

SOFTONE Group, member of the Olympia Group of Companies and leading business cloud service (SaaS) provider in Greece, announced record-breaking growth in FY 2020, having reached a new momentous milestone: 15.000 Cloud (SaaS) customers! SOFTONE’s turnover rose 24% to €21 million (according to IFRS standards), while Cash EBITDA reached €5,2 million increasing by 99%, compared to 2019 respectively. The Group continues to exhibit robust sales development throughout the first quarter of 2021 as its total turnover is up by 60%.

This outstanding performance is yet another major recognition for SOFTONE’s continuous commitment and investment on innovation and cloud technology, while it reflects its product portfolio differentiation as well as the agility and resilience of the Group’s business model to generate increased profitability and drive sustainable growth for its Partners network.

The Covid-19 crisis and the new e-books/myDATA legislation speed up the digitization of local businesses, with SOFTONE’s cloud services and solutions clearly lead the charge towards transformation, partnering with major customers such as: INDITEX Group Hellas (ZARA), PMM (Public MediaMarkt), Skroutz, Gregory’s, British American Tobacco, Mediterraneo Hospital, G.B. Georgakopoulos S.A., Bed & Bath, Westnet Distribution and Elanco Hellas.

SOFTONE’s record growth is driven by continued demand for both its business transformation platform Soft1 Cloud ERP Series 5 and its certified electronic invoicing service SoftOne EINVOICING, plus the solid adoption of Prosvasis GO – an einvoicing web application designed specifically for free-lancers and small businesses (offered by Prosvasis, a SOFTONE company).

Highlighting SOFTONE’s cloud leadership, Soft1 cloud solutions currently serve more than 25 million requests every single day, while SoftOne EINVOICING cloud service issues and transmits more than 2 million certified sales invoices to 50.000+ enterprises and the myDATA platform of IAPR (AADE) on a monthly basis.

Commenting on the group’s financial results, Mr. Panos Martinis, SOFTONE’s CEO, stated: “Our business performance and high customer satisfaction levels, clearly demonstrate a strong momentum for SOFTONE as companies adopt our cloud solutions to power their growth and success. We believe that Greek companies have only just begun their digital transformation journey. Beyond evolving its existing products and services, SOFTONE Group firmly focuses on developing innovative front-office and back-office transformation services that boost the business potential of digital technologies across our customers’ entire operation.”

SOFTONE’s local subsidiaries in Romania, Cyprus and Bulgaria continue to report double-digit growth rates year-over-year, significantly contributing to the Group’s overall success.
