SOFTONE Group of companies signs the Greek Diversity Charter

Laying the groundwork for the configuration of a supportive workplace that appreciates and manages the diversity of its workforce, SOFTONE Group signed the Greek Diversity Charter.

On November 24, 2022, SOFTONE Group of companies signed the Greek Diversity Charter, in the presence of Ms. Ioanna Vompiri, SOFTONE Group Head of HR, Mr. Stavros Milionis, President of KEAN and Founder of the Greek Diversity Charter and KEAN’s communications officer, Ms. Katerina Psycha, confirming once again the values of equality and respect of diversity, that govern SOFTONE Group’s culture.

On the occasion of SOFTONE Group signing the Diversity Charter, Mrs. Ioanna Vompiri, Group Head of HR, stated: “By signing the Diversity Charter, SOFTONE Group lays the groundwork for a unique work environment in which equality, diversity and inclusion are flourishing. Our people are always our priority, “we draw our strength from our diversity” and we act what we stand for through our practices and our programs. We’re building a culture where talented people can flourish within the company. Our people work in an innovative, collaborative, and diverse environment where they are happy to share their experience and talent with their teams, they feel valued, and they are committed to participate on creating the place where we all want to work. We create the conditions to make it happen so that everyone can bring his true self to work! Our employee’s voice creates our culture”.

At the same time, Mr. S. Milionis, President of KEAN and Founder of the Greek Diversity Charter stated: “SOFTONE Group of companies, that focuses on the development of innovative solutions, supporting the digital transformation process of companies, signed the Greek Diversity Charter. By becoming a member of Diversity Charter Greece, SOFTONE Group continues to plan and implement actions that will benefit the business community as well as society at large”.

The Diversity Charter is an initiative by the European Commission for the promotion of diversity and inclusion in Greek businesses, and it was established in Greece in 2019. In Greece, the Diversity Charter is implemented by KEAN – Cell of Alternative Youth Activities. The aim of the Charter is to function as a medium of commitment for the implementation of equality, equal opportunities and diversity in every work environment in Greece. The enterprises that sign the Diversity Charter receive tools to implement their commitment to support diversity, based on the following 6 pillars: gender, age, race/color, disability/chronic illness, national/ethnic origin, and sexual orientation.
