SOFTONE Group Appoints Radu Opris as New Group General Manager International

SOFTONE Group, a leading business software provider in Greece and SE Europe, announces the appointment of Mr. Radu Opris as the new Group General Manager International. This appointment signifies SOFTONE Group’s commitment to growing its presence in Romania, Bulgaria and SEE region.

Radu Opris brings unique leadership experience from the IT, telecommunications, and business software market of Southeast Europe. Prior to joining the SOFTONE Group, he was Managing Director of HP Enterprise Romania. Previously, he held executive positions at renowned organizations including Microsoft and Motorola. Throughout his career, Radu has consistently achieved the successful expansion into untapped geographic and industry markets, the cultivation of robust partner networks, and the establishment of strong management teams through strategic staffing initiatives.

In his new role, Radu Opris will work closely with the Country General Managers, Rado Vangelov (Bulgaria) and Alexandra Lucescu (Romania), to execute and accelerate the strategic plan for the Bulgarian and Romanian markets. Additionally, he will explore and pursue further expansion opportunities across SEE markets.
