SoftOne Technologies, a member of Olympia Group of companies, announced the acquisition of Prosvasis, a Greek company that specialises in providing software and training solutions for accounting firms. Through this new investment, SoftOne further strengthens its leading position in the Greek IT software and cloud services market, expediting its entry into the accounting services sector.
Prosvasis was founded in 2005 and, through multi-level operations, has managed to gain an extensive clientele consisting of more than 4.500 accounting firms. Apart from developing accounting management solutions, the company also provides comprehensive support services by organising seminars and one-day events, as well as publishing books on accounting and tax issues.
As Mr. Antonis Kyriazis, SoftOne’s CEO, noted: “Through the acquisition of Prosvasis, one of the most robust accounting software companies in Greece, we are on track with the goal we have set, which is to assist today’s businesses to transform the way they operate. This move is part of SoftOne’s growth plan and joins a series of significant strategic investments that strengthen our leading position in the market. I would like to welcome Prosvasis and its distinguished executives to the SoftOne family, and to voice my optimism over the outcomes of our joining forces.”
Mrs. Ioanna Kotsogianni, General Manager of Prosvasis, added: “Our inclusion into the SoftOne family, marks the first day of a new era for Prosvasis. I am confident that through exchanging technical know-how and complementing each other’s operations and solutions, we will create a unique value proposition for the accounting and tax services sector.”
